The roots of Impact Photography actually lie not just in portrait photography, but also photojournalism. Blake Harris has been a magazine writer and photographer for 30 years with work published both in North American and Europe. And in recent years, Liz Szynkowski has also taken on a number of editorial assignments for newspapers and magazines in Toronto.

Today, most of our photojournalist efforts area directed at documentary photography projects in Toronto and across Canada. However, we are always open to discussing possible editorial assignments.

We also have collaborations underway with photographers in the U.S. and overseas.
