What we most often hear from agents in Toronto is that they want headshots that reflect the actor's personality. This requires not just a keen photographic eye, but also a sensitivity to the artist and the image they want the headshot to project.

In our experience the best way to get good headshots is to let the actor do what he or she feels is most natural and then to subtly direct for composition.
